Author Guideline
Manuscript Submission
BJAH invites original research contributions in disciplines such as sociology, economics, political science, and education. Manuscripts should be between 5000–7000 words, including references, tables, and figures. All submissions should be made through the journal’s online system.
General Requirements
Language: English or Urdu.
Abstract: Articles in Urdu must include an English abstract of 150–250 words.
File Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
Font & Formatting:
English: Times New Roman, 11 pt for body text, 12 pt bold for main headings.
Urdu: Jameel Noori Nastaleeq, 13 pt for body text, 14 pt bold for headings.
Research Article Structure
- Title Page: Title, author name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information.
- Abstract: 150–250 words outlining the research problem, methodology, and results.
- Keywords: Provide 3–7 keywords for indexing.
- Introduction: Overview of research context, objectives, and significance.
- Literature Review: Discuss theoretical frameworks and prior research.
- Methodology: Detailed explanation of research design and methods.
- Results & Discussion: Presentation and interpretation of findings.
- Conclusion: Summarize key results and suggest directions for future research.
- References: Chicago Manual of Style (16th or 17th edition) for citations.
Figures & Tables
Must be numbered, titled, and placed appropriately within the manuscript, following APA or Chicago Style guidelines.
Peer Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review.
Ethical Standards
All authors must adhere to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, ensuring the originality and integrity of their work.
